The Yasvanth Golden Stupa is the first Golden Stupa to be erected in Sri Lanka. The stupa which stands
at 72 feet in height and 132 feet in circumference, is situated within an extent of over one-acre property in the Wathuruwa Rajamaha Viharaya in Kataragama and was a donation to the temple by Mr. Arthur Senanayake.
