Eurocars (Pvt) Ltd Unveils the Porsche Macan Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) 2025 at Ceylon Motor Show

Colombo, Sri Lanka – October 24, 2025 — Eurocars (Pvt) Ltd, the official Porsche importer and a subsidiary of IWS Holdings, officially unveiled the Porsche Macan Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) 2025 on October 24 at the Ceylon Motor Show 2025, held from October 24–26 at BMICH, Colombo.

This milestone event marked the Sri Lankan debut of Porsche’s newest all-electric SUV — a symbol of innovation, luxury, and sustainability in performance mobility.

The unveiling was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Martin Klose, Chief Delegate of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka (AHK Sri Lanka). Also in attendance were Mr. Dimitri Sheriff, Director – Corporate Affairs, and Ms. Annika Senanayake, Director – Corporate Planning Division, representing the IWS Holdings leadership.

“The Macan BEV represents Porsche’s engineering excellence in this new era,” said Mr. Arthur Senanayake, Chairman of IWS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd. “Our journey toward electrification takes a major leap forward today, and we’re proud to introduce it to Sri Lanka.”

Built on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the Macan BEV delivers up to 603 hp (450 kW), 800-volt ultra-fast charging, and a range of up to 654 km (WLTP) — combining cutting-edge technology with Porsche’s signature performance.

Eurocars (Pvt) Ltd continues to lead Sri Lanka’s transition toward sustainable luxury mobility with the Porsche Macan BEV 2025.
